LMA Canada
What started as a brown bag monthly legal marketing Vancouver roundtable sometime around 1998, progressed to the first international chapter of Legal Marketing Association, the Vancouver Chapter, then became the Western Canadian Region and a few years later evolved to the LMA Canada Region. Serving on each board, including the current iteration, has brought professional growth and learning.
A colleague and I started the brown bag sessions as lonely marketers with scarce resources and today, across Canada, we have hundreds of members. It has been a privilege to witness and influence advancements in our professional association. Our colleagues are supported with professional development, growth opportunities, friendships and more. But to connect west with east, and all that in between, goes well beyond the visions of the five of us sitting at that roundtable.
